Editing

for my media production, we created a music video to solo artist Freya ridings and her single 'Lost Without You' when fist listening to this song i felt as though it portrays a lot of different emotions throughout the music video, and therefore i wanted to incorporate this into my production. However the tempo of the music video is quite slow therefore when editing the music video we wanted the music video to match this. this means that we used camera movements such as slow motion and long camera shots. therefore when watching to music video the editing of the long takes and the slow motion really gives the idea of the different emotions that the protagonist is portraying.

Ariana Grande

I started to do some research into Ariana Grande as although her music genre is completely opposite to mine, the age group of the artist is a similar age group to what I am promoting for my music video for, my music video is mainly for young females therefore I opted to research into Ariana as I know that she has a similar audience age group. moreover I started to look at her website to start gaining ideas and inspiration for the website which I will create for my ancillary text as I feel because I am approaching a similar age group I wanted to include conventions of Ariana's website into mine.
